who doesn’t mind that MIB doesn’t have a name? Frankly, this makes him even more awesome. I mean, his mom didn’t name him, so he just stayed nameless? I mean, that is messed up, but sort of fitting, I guess. Come on, it’s so much better this way than for example if he would be like “Oh hi, btw my name is Bob”. 

Lots of things don’t have names. The Island. The Others. The Monster. The Sickness. Now, Mother and Jacob’s brother don’t have names either. It’s very… primordial. Pure. Maybe Jacob having a name is one of the reasons his mother didn’t love him as much.
